About the Author

Don Hall has served in a variety of capacities throughout the Transition Towns Movement over the past 15 years, and is currently Training Coordinator for the International Transition Network. Don holds a Master’s in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University, is a certified Permaculture Designer, and lives in community in Boulder, Colorado.

Robert Pavlis is the owner and developer of Aspen Grove Gardens, a 6-acre botanical garden with 3,000 varieties of plants. Specializing in soil science, Robert has been an instructor for Landscape Ontario. He is a blogger, a chemist, and the author of Soil Science for Gardeners and Building Natural Ponds. He resides in Guelph, Canada.
