When she is not slaving away in the digital salt mines, she enjoys sailing with husband Paul and first mate Maggie the dog, tending a rather disheveled vegetable garden, and riding herd on a ragtag flock of free-ranging chickens. She has a keen interest in local politics, and recently served a four-year term as a Gabriola Island Trustee for the Islands Trust.
