Four Day Work Week - Summer 2022

In an ongoing effort to support staff wellness, self care and a healthy work-life balance New Society Publishers will be testing a four-day work week for the months of July and August. There will be no change in pay and staff will receive their full wage while working a four-day week.

Many studies have shown that an overall reduction of hours working can:

• Maintained or increased productivity and service provision.
• Improved workers’ wellbeing and work-life balance.

Our offices will be closed Fridays – Sunday for the summer months and staff will be refraining from responding to email on these days. Instead, we support this time for family, selfcare and wellness.
