Orders to US destinations are fulfilled through our distribution warehouse and shipped via FedEx. 

Tracking information from our distribution center is not available until 2 weeks past the order date. If your order has not arrived by this time, please contact [email protected] 

All New Society Publishers books are available to order through the international book trade.  Please order at your favourite online retailer, or request the book from your local bookstore.

When you purchase a New Society audiobook from our website you will receive a link to download a zipped file containing several DRM-free MP3 files.

You can download the zipped file directly to your computer or the device of your choice. The following documents are provided to help if you’re having trouble.

While we cannot cover every combination of device and player, the following documents provide sample instructions (with screenshots) for listening to our audiobooks using a selected free audiobook player on your PC, phone, or tablet.

For USA and Canada: $8.00 shipping fee. Orders over $70 qualify for free shipping. Allow 7 to 10 business days. Orders to U.S. destinations are shipped via FedEx. For other arrangements please email us at [email protected].

RETURNS POLICY
This Returns Policy applies to items purchased from our online store. If we made an error in shipping, or if an item arrived in a damaged or defective condition you may email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to send a replacement at no cost to you. If requested by us, you must return the original item to us and we will refund you any shipping costs.

In all other cases, if you wish to return an item that was bought from our online store you must first email us at [email protected] to arrange the return. We will only accept returns within 30 days of delivery to you. Only items bought with a credit card can be returned. Refunds will only be made for items that are returned to us undamaged, unmarked and in original condition. Once we have received the item from you we will refund the purchase price of the item, less any shipping costs, to your credit card.

Notes:

• Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
• The return procedure above applies only to those items purchased from New Society Publishers. It does not apply to books bought at another bookseller, online, or retail store.
• Due to the digital nature of the product, we cannot accept ebook returns.
• Please allow ten business days after receipt of a return for the refund to appear on your credit card.

Written permission from the publisher is required to reproduce any part of these materials, whether in print, online, or in audio or video format. Examples which require permissions include a short quotation from one book to be used in another book, a table or chart from a book to be reprinted in a newsletter or a magazine, a section of a book to be photocopied for classroom use, etc.All permission requests must include:

• Title, author and ISBN of our book
• Title, author and publisher of your publication
• The material from our book you wish to reproduce – please use page numbers from our book and not information from some other excerpt.
• Format of your publication (hardcover, softcover, on-line, audio, video, etc.)
• Expected page count of your publication
• Territory of distribution for your publication (U.S., North America, world, etc.)
• Expected print run or audience size
• Expected publication date
• Retail price of your publication (if applicable)
• Contact information

Note: if you are wishing to copy pages from one of our books for use in a school classroom please send the request on school letterhead, or from a school email address, and provide the following:

• School, professor and course information
• Number of students in the course
• Exact pages from the book that you wish to copy.
